Engaged Student Needed as Student Ambassador for Mattecentrum

ABOUT THE POSITION

Academic Work is currently looking for a student on behalf of Mattecentrum who, alongside their studies, wants to contribute to Mattecentrum's local growth. Mattecentrum is a non-profit organization that helps thousands of students each year improve their mathematics skills – completely free of charge. Their math support centers across the country are safe spaces where students can receive support from dedicated volunteers. Here, you will have a meaningful role where you contribute to creating opportunities for students to succeed in mathematics – and in life.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a student ambassador, you will be an important part of Mattecentrum's operations. Your tasks include:

• Increasing visitor numbers: Visiting schools and informing students about our math support centers.
• Hosting: Being present at the math support centers to welcome students, register new members, and create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Marketing: Helping to spread information about Mattecentrum and their activities through, for example, posters and local networks.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Is studying at a post-secondary level for at least 50%
• Is currently studying or has studied some form of mathematics at a post-secondary level
• Can work 35-40 hours/month
• Is proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written
• It is an advantage if you have previous experience in associations, educational work, or volunteer work.
